Matt Simons to pochodzący z Kalifornii piosenkarz, tekściarz, kompozytor i multiinstrumentalista. Pierwszy album artysta wydał w 2012 roku. Debiutancki krążek nosił tytuł "Pieces". W 2014 roku Matt Simons wydał drugi album "Catch & Release" i to właśnie ta płyta przypieczętowała światowy sukces artysty. W 2019 roku miała premierę trzecia płyta Simonsa - "After The Landslide". To z niej pochodzi utwór "We Can Do Better."
